• A pill opens only when the pointer rests on its line, so passing near it no longer opens the shelf.

• Detego can update itself from Check for Updates, in the menu bar menu and in Settings › About. It shows what's new since your version and installs it when you choose Install. Checking once a day is off until you turn it on, and a check sends only the app and macOS versions.

• A fanned stack frees its memory as soon as it folds back. It used to keep the card it dealt out until the next fan.

• A card no longer flicks out of its stack while you scroll the shelf. It lifts only when you move the pointer yourself.
• A prompt's tooltip shows the whole prompt. It used to stop at 80 characters, often mid-sentence.

• Every choice in Settings is a pop-up menu, as in System Settings, so the rows line up and each has room to say what it does. Choices with a preview beside them stay side by side.

• Names the shelf cuts short show in full in a tooltip, with the session's folder, branch and time underneath.

• The Stacks strip scrolls like a Mac list: it stretches past either end under a trackpad and springs back.
• The Undo message waits while your pointer is on it or the shelf is closed, so you never miss it.
• The filter and project menus open as you press, so you can press, drag to an item and let go.
• A pill card you swipe follows your finger and springs back out if you don't swipe far enough.
• The shelf catches up on anything it missed while macOS was dropping file events or after a long break.
• Smoother animations for the shelf's counts, chips and Settings rows.
